Thermal Inspections

We help you see and map out the unseen. We have a certification in thermal drone applications and a drone with a high resolution thermal camera that lets us see areas that are showing signs of leaks and water penetration, any signs of mold and the size/location of these areas that the visible eye can’t see. This could benefit you in the following ways.

  • Insurance claims- Insurance companies often deny claims because building’s owner don’t have sufficient and consistent proof of proper building maintenance. We can come out every year and coordinate with your maintenance crew and repair professionals to help building owners with this issue.

  • Selling process- There is never a more important time to figure out what’s going on with your building than during the selling process. We can run a thermal scan during these times to help you make the more informed buying decision possible.

  • Stress cracks in metal- Our thermal cameras are high resolution and can pick up stress cracks and other signs of damage from a safe distance

  • High quality data safely- Thermal scans have to be done about 30 minutes after sunset and are done over large and sometimes unsafe areas, doing this manually take too long to get the data you need and is not safe. Our drones can get large areas done in minutes without compromising the quality that is required

  • Customized .pdf reports that can be turned around in 48 hours from when the data is captured.

  • All scans are done to the standard of ASTM C 1153, an internationally recognized standard that is generally required for data accuracy.

Thermal Sample

This is a picture of a roof taken about an hour after the sun was no longer hitting the roof.

In spot 1, that is a patch repair on the roof that is cooling down slower than spot 2, a patch repair done with the same material. When water leaks under a damaged part of the roof, that part of the roof is going to cool down slower and while the naked eye might see the same materials and not be able to see the damage, a thermal camera will be able to find these troubled spots and you can focus on addressing specific issues, saving on repair costs and greatly extend the life of your roof.
